The Court Clerk is responsible for the administration of Municipal Court operations, including maintaining court records, processing citations and payments, assisting the public with court-related inquiries, and supporting the efficient scheduling and flow of court proceedings.
Court Information
The Blanchard Municipal Court is a Court Not of Record and serves as the judicial branch of the City of Blanchard. The Court hears cases involving traffic violations, juvenile matters, and City ordinance violations. Its mission is to administer justice fairly, efficiently, and impartially while ensuring due process for all parties.
Court Appearance
Your required court appearance date is listed on the front of your citation. By that date, you must either:
- Appear before the judge to contest the citation.
- Pay the citation, if eligible.
Court Attendance
Please arrive early and sign in before your scheduled court session.
- Juvenile and Compliance Court: Sign in by 3:30 p.m.
- Traffic Court: Sign in by 2:30 p.m.
Court sessions begin promptly at their scheduled time.
Payment Methods
The Municipal Court accepts the following forms of payment:
- Cash (in person)
- Cashier's checks
- Credit and debit cards (online)
- Money orders
- Personal checks
