Emergency Management
The Blanchard Emergency Management works to mitigate, plan and prepare for, respond to, and recover from the various emergencies and disasters that affect the city of Blanchard. The Blanchard Fire Chief (Charlie Largent) currently serves as the Emergency Manager.
We utilize an all-hazards approach, focusing on the various emergency functions that need to be performed in times of trouble.
This includes the identification and analysis of the hazards in our city and working to either eliminate the hazards or lessen their efforts.
Some of these emergencies may include but are not limited to: fires, floods, and tornadoes.
The City of Blanchard works together in a joint capacity alongside the State of Oklahoma to protect our great city.
